Civilian
An Army's baggage train, during the Civil Wars, consisted of various civilians and artesans of different trades and Camp Followers. There would be carts for the victuallers, traders and a whole host of other persons who had a commercial interest in the army, including a goodly number of 'light ladies of pleasure'.
If you are considering a non-combatant role. there is a part for you, either as part of the baggage train supporting the army on the field, as a water carrier to the troops, doing Civilian cameos on the crowd line or as part of the Living History Camp.
